5th October: Just discovered that the metasyntactic variables of choice at Cambridge are "zxc","spqr" and "wombat". Which I thought was nice. :D Oh, keep an eye out for more writings later on. Blah.
6th September: Gap Year begins in earnest, starting a job next week, need money for conservation project. Help me out: buy stuff. Also, amuse yourself with Captain Martyrdom.
16th July: Last week (7th-12th) was spent in Newquay, enjoying the unusually summery weather, huge expanse of beaches and the company of several thousand teenagers all out for a good time. It was alright. Bit busy. Good fun though, and pictures here. If you're wondering why all these links seem to be pointing to ermsays.net these days it's because I think I'm coming up near to my file storage limit on BT, and I'm gradually shifting off. Oh well.
3rd July: I forget when the Leaver's Ball was, but the photos are here. Enjoy.
25th June: Harry Potter finally arrives, 3 days later than expected. Am half-way through already. Meanwhile, erm has moved to a new site all of his own.
21st June: Two erm videos now, a new erm poster in the shop, a new quiz, and a scrolling thing on the right. Yes, I'm meant to be revising... Speaking of which, I have a horrible feeling my pre-order of Harry Potter 5 will severly disrupt any attempts at revision later this weekend. It's so hard to choose: Harry Potter 5, or my future livelihood? I don't know.
16th June: Exams, so many exams. People use that excuse to get out of all sorts of things. It always amuses me, because they never do any revision in place of thie things they get out of, they just sit at home moaning. Or maybe that's just me. Anyway, I'm quite content in my own little world, the suffealism of which may become apparent if my latest written effort is persued to the end. Oh and check it out, erm has a new video section. let's hope I can get some good stuff up there soon.
24th May: I saw The Matrix: Reloaded the other day. Not as good as part one, but then the second in a trilogy never is. But it sets the stage well for Revolutions, and gives me a whole load of filosoffy and storyline to try and figure out before Revolutions comes out. (November 5th!)
24th May: Haven't updated in a while, probably because a whole load of stuff's been happening. I finished school about a week ago. Which is a really weird feeling, but it kinda brings home a) Exams! b) Gap Year to sort out! AAARGH
11th May: Reaching new heights in overexuberant optimism and presumptousness, I have opened an erm store where you can buy loads of ermchandise to flaunt. Any ideas for other ermchandise I can produce, please email me.
10th May: Yesterday on The People's Book of Records (Channel Four: churning out tripe for you!) some guy set the record of 41 consecutive forward rolls in the back of a (stationary) van. I figured the van was thus unnecessary to the record, and thought I could probably beat that. I tried it, and found after 20 that it wasn't quite as simple as I had thought. But this morning, in a fit of boredom, I did 42 in a row without a break, and I probably could've kept going given sufficient incentive.
